Backcountry Strength is a comprehensive coaching service designed to help working professionals train their bodies and minds to handle the demands of the backcountry and finally tackle that bucket list adventure they’ve been putting off for years.
It works because it’s a comprehensive program including nutrition, fitness, lifestyle management, and mental skills training based on my unique background and experience training hundreds of clients for adventure sport trips and events over the past 15 years as well as my own first-hand experience as a backcountry athlete.
It’s different from everything else out there because it’s specifically designed to address all of the areas necessary to be successful on a physically demanding adventure in an unpredictable environment. It’s not a weight-loss program or a “get jacked” program (though those are both common side effects.) It’s a program that significantly improves PERFORMANCE to ensure you’re able to make the most of your trip and come back home with memories to last a lifetime.

3 Follow-Up Coaching/Strategy Sessions: Weekly check-in sessions to ensure that you are on track towards your goals and to make any necessary adjustments.
** Please note that Backcountry Strength services 90+% of our clients remotely. We have all of the systems in place to ensure smooth delivery in an online coaching format. All programming and assessments is/are delivered via our custom coaching app and coaching sessions are conducted via Zoom.
In-person coaching is available at our studio in the Sardis area of Chilliwack only. All others will receive their coaching remotely.
